6th European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises
On 10-12 October 2016 Katowice became a place for exchanging knowledge and experience.
During the grand opening of the 6th European Small and Medium Enterprise Congress, Tadeusz Donocik (President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and the organizer of the Congress) emphasized: – In Europe, 23 million micro, small and medium sized businesses now generate about 75 percent of all jobs. In Poland – 67% companies in this sector make up about 70 percent european and 50% polish GDP. In Poland operate about 1.8 million small and medium enterprises. There was definitely many topics to talk about, so it could not diminish Office Support at this year’s edition.
Discussion panels
We have participated in panel discussions about Marketing and Sales Through the Internet. One of the most interesting meetings was the workshop conducted by Grzegorz Miłkowski (CEO of Content House). Participants learned how such „good content” influences on search engine rankings and how to sell them. On other workshops we talked about building a thriving e-commerce platform. The Congress program has provided us with many interesting inspirations for innovation.
Business Expo
Congress began with the Expo Business, which gathered more than 120 exhibitors at the International Congress Center. Visitors could also seek advice on the Market Island Knowledge Center and gain new contacts in the Networking and B2B Zone.
The event was held under the High Patronage of the European Parliament.
