Armada Golf Club integration meeting

September integration meeting organized on the golf club in Bytom is already behind us. Still under great impression, we are going to present a relationship.
Due to new employment in the company the meeting was a great opportunity for us to get acquainted with the non-professional degree. The date, place, schedule we had already set a few months earlier, however, great uncertainty was our predisposition to golf. We did not know what to expect because none of us had ever played golf. We also did not know if we would be able to relax and whether anyone, in embarrassment, would not stop playing after half an hour.

Here we go

The meeting started with the arrival at the construction site of the new headquarters in Tąpkowice. This was the first time the entire team could see where new offices would be built, walk through the warehouse area, and find out what solutions were used in the project. After visiting the construction site we quickly reached the place of our integration meeting, which turned out to be a great choice. Before we started golf academy we had time for coffee, drinks and conversation. At the Armada Club we were given a very nice welcome, we had a tent with a cold plate and a Swedish table.

After 5 pm

Od godziny 17stej uczestniczyliśmy w akademii golfa prowadzonej przez Macieja Zakrzewskiego (Head Professional PGA Qualified Golf Trainer) oraz Mateusza Korzucha (Assistant Heead PRO PAG). Słowem wstępu dowiedzieliśmy się, że golf to sport dla wszystkich, niezależnie od płci czy wieku. Od razu przeszliśmy na ‚TY’, dzięki czemu nie czuliśmy skrępowania. Dowiedzieliśmy się w jaki sposób prawidłowo trzymać kij, jaką przyjąć pozycję oraz jak prawidłowo wykonać zamach (tzw. swing). Poznaliśmy również fachową terminologię oraz zasady golfowej etykiety. Ostatnia godzina Akademii pobudziła w nas chęć rywalizacji. Dobierając się w grupy rozegraliśmy Stroke play (wygrywał ten zespół, kto trafił dołek, oddalony o 250m od punktu startu, jak najmniejszą liczbą uderzeń). Po rozgrywce przyszedł czas na odpoczynek przy ognisku i grillu. Reszta wieczoru upłynęła nam na rozmowach, poznawaniu siebie oraz tańcach do białego rana
