The company trip to Wisła took place on 22–23 October, where we experienced an unforgettable adventure full of fresh mountain air!
This time, for our company trip, we headed into the mountains along a friendly trail through the Beskid Niski range. Our goal was to reach Barania Góra (1,220m above sea level) and then descend to the PTTK Przysłop mountain shelter (951m above sea level), where we stayed overnight.
We had 7.5km to cover to reach the summit, plus 3km to the shelter. The first few kilometres flew by, as that section followed an asphalt road. The later stages of the trail were considerably more demanding.
The climb to the summit and descent to the Przysłop shelter took us a total of 4 hours. After such a hike, we were glad to settle into the shelter's restaurant, where a delicious lunch was waiting for us. After lunch we still had time for a well-deserved dessert and coffee.
The mountain weather was unpredictable and unfortunately, due to heavy rain, we had to cancel the planned evening campfire. Despite the adverse conditions, unexpected entertainment awaited us at the shelter — including a fire display in the pouring rain 😉.
After dinner and traditional oscypek cheese, it was time to rest, as the next day we had a hike along the black trail to Wisła Czarne ahead of us — approximately 6.4km.
