We combined Office Support's 13th birthday celebrations with a team integration event. We headed to E1GOKART go-kart track in Chorzów.
The staff at the Chorzów go-kart centre use only WARTER Pro Fuels alkylated petrol, which is almost completely free of hazardous compounds such as benzene and aromatic hydrocarbons — making for a much more comfortable driving experience with no unpleasant exhaust fumes on arrival.
The track is entirely housed in a covered hall spanning over 4,300 m². The track itself is 630 metres long and has two levels. To give everyone more space on the track, we split the team into two groups. Each of us took part in 3 sessions of 8 minutes each. You can actually complete up to 8 laps per session.
In the first group, the best lap time was set by Iwona, who completed a lap in 63.944 seconds. In the second group, the fastest was Marcin, with a best lap of 60.072 seconds. The races brought us plenty of positive emotions and adrenaline.
After the intense competition, we met at the California restaurant in Tarnowskie Góry, famous for its slow food burgers. Celebrating the company's 13th birthday in such an extreme way will certainly stay with us for a long time.
